Lei Chen Wong is the new Executive Director for the JaneGoodall Institute China. Prior to this, she served as Assistant Director at a US non-profit organization specializing in international education from 2005 to 2009 in Shanghai. Passionate about student volunteerism and environmental sustainability, she has extensive experience developing many successful programs and projects that actively involved students in volunteering. Originally from New York, she graduated with honors from Hamilton College with a concentration in foreign languages. In 2004, she returned to study at the Hopkins-Nanjing Center, taking graduate-level courses in Chinese focusing on U.S.-Sino relations and contemporary Chinese society.

Jiang Yan serves as Deputy Director for JGI China. She joined the Roots & Shoots family in 2006; working previously in various professional businesses. She is currently responsible for administration and financing of office affairs, liaisons with media and other NGOs in China. Jiang Yan holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Renmin University of China.
